Can hardscaping be done in winter?
Ground work is difficult when soil is frozen solid. We can handle planning, design, and material selection in winter for early spring installation as soon as ground conditions allow.
What time of year is best for hardscaping?
Spring and fall are ideal — moderate temperatures help base materials compact and set properly. Summer works too, but we schedule around extreme heat to protect the work crew.
What is the cheapest hardscaping option?
Gravel patios and poured concrete are the most affordable starting points. Standard concrete pavers offer a mid-range option that balances appearance, durability, and cost well.
How long does a hardscaping project take?
A standard patio takes 3-5 working days from excavation to completion. Larger projects like outdoor kitchens or retaining walls may take 2-3 weeks depending on scope.
How do I maintain my paver patio?
Sweep debris regularly and rinse with a garden hose. Re-sand the joints between pavers every 2-3 years. Apply sealer every 3-5 years to maintain color and prevent weed growth.
